In honor of Lt. Brandon Owens, the Union City Police Department is hosting a charity 5K event. All proceeds will support the Shop-With-A-Cop Program, to bring Christmas to children in our community Lt. Brandon Owens passed away on March 1, 2022. He loved fundraising for and supporting the Shop With A Cop Program. He spent countless hours preparing for the event every year, and absolutely loved making a difference in the lives of children. Lt. Owens was a devoted law enforcement officer with over 10 years of service. Prior to his time in law enforcement, Lt. Owens was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Infantry. In honor of his service in the Army, we ask all those who can to consider participating with a ruck.
