AICCO or Amazigh Indigenous Cultural and Community Organization will be hosting a celebration of the North African Amazigh new year, called Yannayer. Amazigh New Year for the Amazigh-American community and diaspora is a time to celebrate Amazigh culture and traditions that survived for thousands of years. It will take place on Jan 7th at Memorial Hall Melrose. The program includes live music, traditional food of couscous, kids performances, and presentations about the Amazigh culture.
