The laughter is coming to Owego when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the John Barleycorn on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Joel Lindley is headlining the show and Rob Campbell and Freddy DoLess are joining host Mike Peters. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and there's a recommended $5 donation at the door, which opens at 7. Come out and enjoy the show. About the comedians: Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast. Freddy DoLess is a comedian in Rochester. New to Western New York, he’s got a TV show called SlapFreddy set to come out in January. Rob Campbell works all over the Rochester area. He placed second in the Rochester’s Funniest Person Contest in 2022. A regular at the Comedy at the Carlson, Campbell featured for Faizon Love. Joel Lindley is a comedian out of Rochester. He works regularly on cruise ships and has been on the Bob and Tom Show, Comedy Central and Dry Bar Comedy.
