Intermediate Obedience Level 2 Group Training Class
During this six-week course we will work outdoors to focus on environmental proofing all the skills learned in our Level 1 Class in a variety of social situations in a social envoinment with emphasis on engagement, re-engagement, and and teaching the dog to respond to body cues beyond leash pressure.
Each class will be approximately 90 minutes in length. Our first class will meet at our training facility in South Elgin. Remaining classes will be offsite (location will be given at first class) weather permitting. If it is raining, snowing, or the temperature is below 45- we will move the class indoors and meet at the training facility.
This class starts at 10:30am on Saturdays begining January 21at, 2023 and will run for 6 consecutive weeks. We will have a make up class on February 25th at 10:30am available for anyone who missed a regular scheduled class.
Owners are welcome to bring their dog's favorite treats, however this class is designed to establish praise as the reward instead of food. Training collar recommendations may be made on an idividual basis if needed.
