THIS SATURDAY, members of the United We March Forward community will collaborate with Philip and Groundswell Cafe to create a meal of African foods for all of us to share. The goal is for people from both organizations to get to know each other by enjoying a delicious meal together. United We March Forward is a nonprofit created by refugees from Africa currently living in Cedar Rapids, IA. Their mission is to help immigrants integrate into the community by connecting them with local resources and to provide hope through education, encouragement, and empowerment. They'd like up to 15 guests from Matthew 25 to attend. This invitation is being shared with Matthew 25 staff and board members. The first 15 people to RSVP will be able to attend.
