I'm seeking talented musicians for a reggae band in the Burlington area. I have been playing professionally in Vermont and New Mexico for over 20 years, with numerous awards and published reviews including 3rd Best Hip-Hop in Santa Fe (2016). I have hours of original music that ranges from roots reggae to jazzy soul, with some heavy dub elements as well. I play the celtic harp, piano, guitar, and bass, as well as vocals. I'm looking to form a solid band to back me up! If you play bass, drums, guitar, keys, or percussion, I would love to consider you for a role in this project. I have access to a beautiful music and dance studio in downtown Burlington, where we would ideally meet Sunday evenings. I'm hoping to be performing at least twice a month by early Spring, with things picking up in the Summer. I'm open to anyone with a passion for reggae music, the skills to play with a group, and ideally their own instruments and gear. I'm hoping for a nice mix of professional and fun, so probably people from their mid 20's to late 30's.
