D.C. Reeves was recently elected Pensacola's mayor, but he was also instrumental in the founding of CivicCon in 2017. Five years and and more than 60 CivicCon speaker events later, Mayor Reeves will be giving a talk on what he sees as the future direction for our community. His plan comes from almost two months of meeting with his transition team of 29 members, including Capt. Tim Kinsella as team chairman. Each member was chosen for their expertise in different focus areas of the city's operations including attainable housing, education and public safety. Says Kinsella, "Each member comes to the table with a common desire to ensure we present our new Mayor with a product that is both aspirational and functional in its tone and scope and will ultimately inform the mayor's strategic vision for our city."
