Description
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in the Property Management Industry. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing interior and exterior repairs on property structures to include grounds cleaning. All work will be done in compliance with Greccio Housing guidelines while following safety rules and regulations. Prerequisites: The ability to adapt in a fast paced, quickly changing environment while focusing on: planning, organizing, communicating and prioritizing projects and work orders. Successful candidates will utilize smart phone technology to manage a zone system that emphasizes pride, efficiency, accountability and quality of craft. Responsibilities: · Perform basic carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, make ready and painting repairs as necessary. · Implement seasonal preventative maintenance measures. · Perform repairs categorized as “above basic.” Examples include boiler pump installs and diagnosing furnace repairs. · Maintain inventory of supplies and repair equipment. · Shovel snow. · Schedule and supervise vendors such as unit/carpet cleaning and painting. · Complete unit and exterior inspections. · Take on call duty and respond quickly to maintenance emergencies. · Perform all other maintenance duties as required. Education/Experience Required · Commitment to the Greccio mission, its residents, and the Colorado Springs community. · Safe/clean driving record. · Able to understand and follow Fair Housing guidelines. · High school or equivalent and 1 years’ experience or similar services. · Strong communication skills. · Strong self-organizational skills. · Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills. · Outstanding professional boundaries. · Able to work with minimal supervision. · Organizational planning and ability to multitask. · Ability to quickly learn a range of apartment related maintenance skills.
