The video series will help professionals advance in their careers by tackling collaboration, networking, and navigating difficult circumstances with your boss or co-workers. AUDITION: Please self-tape (vertical/phone video preferred) your responses to at least 3 of our prompts, with up to one-minute answer for each. We are looking for authenticity in your replies and thoughtful responses that directly represent your experiences in professional workspaces. Open with this question: Your name, your professional title, and where you live. Followed by: How do you identify yourself, and how do you think people identify you? And select one of the following questions to answer: Think back on a good day at work. Why was it good, and what can you learn about yourself based on that good day? Think about your strengths and how they fit into your workplace team – what’s your unique contribution? And where do you see anything lacking or opportunities for growth? Have you experienced any fraught emotional situations at work? Maybe when tempers were running high in a meeting or there was an awkward moment at an event. How did the people involved handle the situation? Do you think it could have been handled differently? Take a moment to think about persuasion and communication in your own workplace. Effective persuasion looks different depending on the audience and context. What would effective persuasion look like for you at work? How do you experience and manage strong emotions at work? Take a minute to reflect on a past failure at work. What happened? How did you handle the situation? How did you frame that failure as an opportunity to learn and grow?
