We are looking for good people to learn and work with us as we create healthier, more comfortable eco-friendly homes.We are looking for insulators to handle the daily tasks of a busy construction company. We are looking for reliable individuals to join our team. This person must be ready and willing to work. Some experience in insulation installation is required. *Arrive at the job site on time, work within the daily start and stop times, and take breaks and lunch with the crew *Learn building science principles and envelope performance techniques *Maintain a full understanding of high-efficiency products and how to utilize them in the context of the current project (ie, Intello, vana tape, spray foam/gun, mineral fiber, and cellulose) *Minimize waste through efficient material use and application *Install air barrier, air sealing, and cellulose insulation as directed *Perform drilling, patching, and other related tasks for retrofit work as directed *Safely use ladders and scaffolding *Help organize and maintain insulation trailer, equipment, and tools *Maintain compressors, staple guns, generators, cellulose machines and hoses Oil guns, clean cellulose machine filters, remove clogs *Help keep the site and trailer clean and insure all tools and supplies are accessible *Help track material use and communicate material/supply needs to Lead Insulator *Perform carpentry tasks with Lead Carpenter as required Qualifications / Skills: Some knowledge of insulation technics required Attention to Detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Accuracy Thoroughness
