Hi, My name is May. I am SO sweet. I mean, really sweet. I am great with children (big or small), other dogs of various sizes and ages, cats, and farm animals- but I’ve only been around poultry, rabbits, and goats. Here’s the thing, my owners had to relocate and left me on the farm to help protect the flock- but I wasn’t really trained to be a farm dog. They brought me inside fairly often and it turns out I’m way more of a pet then a livestock guardian. Due to my breed, I have a tendency to roam- but if I had someone REALLY experienced in training livestock dogs or someone who wants a pet and a fully fenced yard, I’d be so happy. I think I may already understand not to potty in the house, but maybe not long term. I’m only 18 months old - but my current people have to keep me on a chain all the time and they hate it and I hate it- but I just can’t seem to help myself and I’ve put other dogs in danger so they have to find a new arrangement. I probably really would do best as a pet. If you need companionship, I would be great at it. My current people would love to talk to you and see if it could be a good fit.
