The Hunt for Da Red Gobbo 40k TourneyTournament Style: 12 entrants will fight to win top honors during 3 rounds of play. Each round will be 120 minutes long and the style will be round-robin. The winner of each game will add the difference in scores between themselves and their opponents to their overall tally. This will be a 3-game, 2 hours per game, 1.5k point event. Each game will consist of 5 objectives that will be deployed in No-Mans-Land. The deployment types will be table corners, table quarters (9in radus center), and the long table edges. We will follow the Nephilim format of points scoring. Tertiary points will be for completing an action while in control of the objective as follows: Action: Search for Da Red Gobbo; At the end of the movement phase, one unit can perform this action per turn on an unsearched objective and is completed at the end of your following command phase. Roll 1 D6. On a 6, the objective is the hidden Red Gobbo, adding +1 for each objective that has been searched so far this game. It is possible that none of the objectives will end up being Da Red Gobbo. You will obtain 3VP's for searching an objective. If you find Da Red Gobbo, you will receive 25 bonus VP's. This can take you over the 90VP per game total. Player Level: Intermediate Army Requirements: All models must be Games Workshop models - 3D printed models will not be allowed. Printed bits to add flair or customization are allowed but must not be a replacement for the GW model or identifying wargear. Adding an icon to a shoulder pad, a head swap, flame effects to gun barrels, backpacks/pouches/kits/candles/etc... are all acceptable. Replacing a heavy bolter with a 3D printed hefty boltgun or a Space Marine with a 3D printed Galaxy Warrior is not acceptable.No painting requirements. Fully painted armies will receive a 20 point bonus to their overall score after all 4 rounds are completed and tallied.
