Peter Pan, a free-spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, enters the nursery of the Darling children and, with the help of fairy dust, leads them off to Neverland, where they meet the nefarious Captain Hook. This is the first film adaptation of the 1904 play by J. M. Barrie. The film was seen by Walt Disney and inspired him to create his company's 1953 animated adaptation.
