About the event: Visit Legacy Park for the First Annual Downtown Holiday Bash! Enjoy three hours of song requests performed live by talented pianists. Sing along to holiday classics, top 40 hits, or whatever brings you joy during the holiday season. Roast marshmallows for s'mores, indulge in a spiked hot chocolate bar, and spread good cheer by donating to the Joy Drive, benefitting three hyperlocal non-profit organizations. About the Joy Drive: Downtown Holiday Bash Featuring PURO MASA “JOY DRIVE” A MultiDay Event in San Antonio Helping Our Community Presented by Puro Unity and Masa Boys in partnership with local businesses & organizations ORGANIZATIONS: Puro Unity and Masa Boys are coming together to help give back to the San Antonio community by amplifying some amazing and under-recognized organizations and the families they serve. About Puro Unity: Our vision is building community bonds that better our barrio through advocating, empowering, leading & providing resources. About Masa Boys: Masa stands for Mi Alma San Antonio, as the city has the heart and soul of its members. Video and marketing professional Santiago Lopez and visual artist Rudy Herrera aim to benefit their community through their art and through various events giving back throughout the year. Benefiting: * Monster Moms, Inc. @MonsterMomsInc We strive to empower single-parent, low-income families, homeless and at-risk youth, and domestic violence survivors. * Suenos sin Fronteras @sueñossinfronterastx We aim to achieve Reproductive Justice, Health Equity, and Liberation for immigrant and undocumented communities in San Antonio, Texas. * S.M.A.R.T. @smartsatx Building community through mindful art education. Or you can help by giving NEW toys, diapers, wipes, dry and canned goods, and gift cards at one of our upcoming events. Attendees who bring donations to the Legacy Park event will receive a drink ticket as a token of appreciation (limit one per person). RAFFLE: When you make a donation to Puro MASA Joy Drive sign up to be entered into a raffle where you can win one of our amazing prizes: a one-of-a-kind art piece from artist Hailey Marmolejo or Cassidy Fritts, or a Ceramics Class with sculptor Meechie Ceramics.
