*HYBRID EVENT - ZOOM LINK TO BE PROVIDED*What Brought Us Together Each of us has a strategic need for space that is out of reach for us on our own. We found each other through our networks and programmatic relationships. We have been fortunate to be supported in this exploration of shared space by a Management Assistance Grant from The Forbes Funds. What We Do Our organizations all have different structures, missions, programs and services. We are united by our shared values of service, mindfulness, and social justice.What We Want to Do Together We share the belief that spaces, and intentional communities that inhabit and enliven them, can be places that incubate learning, growth, self-care and collective healing.For each of us, the need for space is strategic and operational. Space will address a variety of program needs ranging from the school spaces for COB, AP’s mindfulness practice & education spaces and offices, VCHT’s therapist offices, and GS’s headquarters and demonstration spaces. However, the choice to pursue a shared, multi-purpose facility is about living the values and purposes of our organizations to be in community with others, in addition to serving individuals and communities. We are working to find a location that can house each of our organizations and any others that care to join us. We welcome the opportunity to include aligned organizations' space needs - either permanent, temporary, or cyclical - in our search considerations. We’re also intentionally looking at other ways our resources can help each other create capacity and synergy to achieve more than we could on our own - such as sharing skilled staff, finding economies of scale in our purchasing - and other opportunities that arise through this journey.
