David Whitney here. 56. Former lead man for the Billies, and Trip Defiance. I sing like David Bowie, David Lee Roth and Hootie. I like Billy Joel, Johnny Cash and 80's and 90's. I play guitar and harmonica. So throw in some acoustic tunes. I want to call the band Yella Ledbetter or something funny. Maybe FRANKENSTEEN. Maybe no one will get that though. Let's start with "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac but drop it down a step. I also got the band the Euclids to record with John Elefante of Kansas Fame. I have monitors and a small amp and a Mackie 8 channel mixer. I don't want to sound like a jerk but we need to play songs that I can sing. So no Journey I'm afraid. We can agree on a song list we all like. I don't want to come in and learn 40 songs from a band that has it all mapped out. The lead singer should always have first pick. Sorry.
