We have been using some excellent fill in help from associated bands since Labor day but are looking for someone willing to take all or the vast majority of our gigs (we can still pull from our current fill ins on occasion) Things we are looking for: Easy to get along with above all, we are low drama, respectful guys and have a good time playing together and do not want to lose that dynamic, we easily set up, sound check, load out and deal with staff and patrons in a fun respectful manner. Ability to play our current and future setlists as closely as possible to the original tracks, we gig enough that practices are rare, we provide you tube setlists of the versions of the songs we play and our setlists below always include the key we play them in! . Good communicator/easy to book... a lot of opportunities nowadays are looking for quick answers to fill bookings. Due to member work schedules we are almost exclusively friday and saturday night gigs. Equipment to do your job, bass and DI or amp with direct out we have all lighting, PA and RGB vertical fog machines and handle our own sound. Understanding and being comfortable with doing the songs that work to fill a dance floor, this is what clubs need from us so we enjoy seeing people singing and dancing and spilling beer while we play "that" song again. We are a 5 peice band with drummer, 2 guitar players and a dedicated vocalist, everyone sings gang/backing vocals to their individual abilities, if you bring more than that to the table great we would gradually implement you into some lead vocal duties as well. If you play some keys or sax that would be bonus but primary thing would be bass. We Practice in Old Orchard Beach and 90% of our gigs are within an hour or so of there. Some clubs we play frequently are Trains in Lebanon, Chaps in Buxton, O'Donahues in Brunswick, Feile in Wells, 1800 Club in Auburn, Top Of The 9th in Fryeburg. We are working towards adding bigger venues while maintaining relationships with current clubs but need full stable membership to get there.
