We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover 2 brand new communities in Johnston and Indianola- a total of 100 apartment units. The Maintenance Technician performs various duties to maintain quality maintenance necessary improvements to enhance the apartment community. Job Functions Under the direction of the Community Manager/Regional Manager Reports maintenance repairs and any issues with vacant apartments and/or apartment community grounds Schedules move ins and inspections Monitors and manages vendors and contracts Proposes recommendations for improvements for the community Some experience in plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Some computer experience Punctuality and problem solving ability Have your own tools and transportation Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check Driver's license must be active with the DMV Excellent benefits package and room for growth Full time, M-F and on call after hours/weekends Pay range $17-19/hour based on experience- send resume if interested
