Juvenile Alpine Newts-- I have several available. Need a cool water tank between 50-68 F- no temps above 73F. Can be kept in a bare bottom tank, but would appreciate some live plants. A simple sponge filter is sufficient-- they need minimal water flow. Eating frozen bloodworms, but can eat waxworms, earthworms, blackworms, sinking pellets. They can be kept with peaceful fish- such as white cloud minnows, danios-- and rams horn snails. The males develop a beautiful blue during breeding season and they have the cutest little spots as they get older! Easy and fun!
