Welcoming Peer Support Space members, new and existing, to come and hangout! We rented out Pavilion #2 at Maitland Community Park (1400 Mayo Ave, Maitland, FL 32751) from 3-5PM on Sunday, December 18th. No pressure to bring anything, your presence is enough! Peer Support Space will be bringing some extra food and games. If you want to, welcoming our friends to bring board games, crafts, food, and non-alcoholic beverages to share! If you are bringing food, please write out your ingredients list so that anybody with allergies or special food needs can know what to avoid. Our pavilion has plenty of picnic tables so no need to bring blankets unless you want to. Maitland Community Park has a nature trail for those wanting to explore. Peer Support Space is a community of people with lived experience navigating mental health and life struggles that act as a support system for one another. We hope this event can be a space where we are all welcomed for the entirety of who we are and how we are showing up. In this space it is okay to be struggling, socially awkward, or incredibly anxious. We can't wait to share some space with you and hopefully make some new friends!
