I'm bored lol. Anybody looking for some night time activity? Please helpme. Hey there. I’m a 26 year old guitarist from Milwaukee looking for some similar-aged people to make some music with. I have a lot of band experience as well as studio experience. Looking to make some modern music but I’m not super limited to genres. This could be anything from collabing on an electronic project to forming (or joining) a band that meets up for live rehearsals. I have quite a bit of unused guitar demos as well as unfinished electronic music that could be a good starting point. But overall I’m looking to find someone who enjoys the writing process as much as I do My current influences are Royal Coda, Circa Survive, Day Glow, Periphery, stuff like that. The stuff I write on guitar is usually pretty dreamy but rock-inspired for sure. My electronic influences are Odesza, So Below, Eden, PVRIS I have music on Spotify and a bunch of demos sitting around that I’d be happy to share with whoever is interested. Not only are we looking for people who are good musicians but also people that will be good band mates. We practice on Sundays in Cuba. Our sound incorporates a lot of influences but most often punk, shoegaze and indie rock. We are in our 30’s with lots of exp writing, recording and playing out. We also have a practice/recording spot with drum kit and bass amp. For drums we are looking for someone with a big dynamic range, meaning they are able to play both slowly and quietly and fast and loud. For bass dynamics are also important with the willingness at times to use a pick and a fuzz pedal. Age/race/orientation/gender doesn’t matter. What does is common influences and having enough time to commit. Also you should probably be 420 and animal friendly.
