PERA & PERA SmartSave representatives are scheduled to participate in this event. PERA staff will discuss PERA TIERs, vesting, earning service credit, purchasing optional service credit, retirement eligibility and the retirement application process. PERA SmartSave representatives will discuss saving additional money toward retirement. The funds can be used to assist a member in purchasing optional service credit and offsetting the cost of post-retirement insurance among other things. This seminar is great for all PERA members.
