Join us for a night of festivities at Panther Skate Plaza's One-Year Anniversary Party and Fundraiser.We made it a whole year y'all! Celebrate our progress and one whole year of the community gathering, connecting, growing and bringing uplifting love to the vibrant community of West Oakland through roller skating. We will be fundraising for the cost of construction and materials needed to build Panther Skate Plaza. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and accessible space for roller skaters of all identities, ages, and abilities that is organized by the community for the youth, while contributing to the rich history of West Oakland and DeFremery Park. This event is FREE and donations are highly encouraged. We'll have an early open skate session 5pm-7pm ONLY. SHOES ONLY AFTER 7PM), update you on Panther Skate's progress, enjoy a dazzling showcase from our community skate family and raffle off some F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S prizes before we dance the night away with your favorite DJs on deck ***Andrew J., Kev FF, Ignacia, and Black Woman*** Let's GIVE this holiday season! Limited amount of skate space on the hardwood floor, but everyone who wants to skate will have a chance to rotate skating time in 30 minute windows!! -***MUST RSVP THROUGH EVENTBRITE WAIVER TO SKATE. NO EXCEPTIONS. SKATE SESSIONS 5PM-7PM. SHOES ONLY AFTER 7PM.*** *Coat Check is available for your things and skates. *Three areas and two floors of fun *Wheelchair accessible *The Continental Club's parking lot is located just a few blocks away at 890 Campbell Street. *18 years and over. *Food and beverage for sale from Continental Club kitchen and bar staff (no outside food or beverage allowed).
