McKinney Cheerleader and Miss Black Texas partner for a Season of Giving. Join us for the SUGA SUGA KIDS 11th Annual Toy Drive with special guest host Aryana Bosh, Miss Black Texas USA 2023. Sunday December 18th at the River Ranch Event Center at Texas Horse Park 811 Pemberton Hill Rd. Bldg. #3 Dallas, TX 75217. Festivities will begin at 1pm until 3pm. Suga Suga Kids is the brainchild of 14 year old Triniti Chitman, a Freshman Cheerleader at McKinney North High School. At 5 years old she could not understand why some children did not get presents at Christmas. Triniti felt so strongly about it that she offered to share her gifts with other children; and Suga Suga Kids was born. By watching her grandmother, Eva Miles, assist with the needs of battered women with her own nonprofit; Triniti followed in her footsteps. Since 2012, Triniti has been the impetus behind an annual toy drive that has provided toys to over 15,000 children. Through the years Triniti has placed smiles on so many kids’ faces, thanks to The Margarita Ball Children’s Charities, loyal sponsor of nine years. Past toy drives were held at the Richardson Civic Center, with the Mayor of Wilmer, Texas, and in West Dallas at the Kingsbridge Apartments. Aryana Bosh is currently a doctoral student at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, a proud Class of 2021 alumna from the University of North Texas, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. “I am very excited and ready to serve the community in any way I can. My platform is Commitment To Hope and the purpose of it is to serve and advocate for the homeless population in Texas.” –Aryana The Miss Black USA scholarship pageant was created in 1986 by Karen Arrington for women of color. The pageant empowers women to own their power and celebrate their unique talents, traits, and beauty. .
