Description

This event is for progressive women of the Triangle to discuss not only this book, but the recent events in Iran, especially pertaining to Iranian women and the protests going on stemming from the death of Mahsa Amini (her Kurdish name was Jina, also spelled Zhina). It's been horrible to catch just a glimpse of what is happening there and not know how to help at all. Having this discussion is something we can do to acknowledge their struggle and appreciate their efforts in fighting back.Come make connections with like minded women in the Triangle. Please feel free to bring your own food and drink. Note this event is available on https://www.meetup.com/fiction-meets-feminist-book-n-social-club/.
