Join us on 06/02/2023 as we discuss ways to prevent gun violence and prevent more harm to our youth. We will be giving out scholarships in honor of Trinity Tiana Sanders who loss her precious life to gun violence on 07/05/2021. We would like to gather community members from different sections of the community and create a safe space for the exchange of information and perspectives, clarifying viewpoints, along with providing opportunities for listening, learning, and understanding information on gun-violence and supporting our youth. Gun violence impacts many of our youth and their families. It's important for the people who support the youth to understand gun violence in order to support system-involved youth most effectively when gun violence touches their lives. This is a free event, but we are accepting donations. We are accepting essays for Trinity Sanders Nursing School Scholarship Contest. In order to qualify you would to be a victim to gun violence. Explain in the essay how gun violence has affected your life and how will this scholarship help you. Essays and contact information would need to be sent to [email protected].
