J.E. Sunde (Jonathan Edward Sunde) is a songwriter and composer based out of Minneapolis, MN. Jon studied western classical music with a vocal emphasis at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Starting in college, Jon spent ten years making beautifully unusual music with The Daredevil Christopher Wright. He has since released three solo records with his most recent record, “9 Songs About Love,” released in November of 2020. With a love of songwriters and performers like Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, and Paul Simon, Jon writes densely poetic songs with a bent toward the philosophical. Also, his voice sounds like some sort of weird angel.
Such Lovely People is a project founded in 2020 by songwriter Josh Dorrell (he/his). An established guitarist and vocalist, Josh has played in several bands and ensembles in the Midwest. Born in Kansas City but raised on wanderlust, he sought to devote his endless voracity to making good music that means more.
Fritz Hutchinson- I spent most of the last ten years playing drums or guitar or whatever in a bunch of bands including She's a Keeper, the Grand Marquis, and Metatone. I'm still bopping around with Fullbloods, Jametatone's Blastocyst, and my own merry band of badasses. Searching for rock and roll in the spaces between the fiddles of the Ozarks and the brass of New Orleans, I wrote and recorded my first solo album, WIde Wild Acres. Eight songs dressed up like Bruce Springsteen and Carol King's little hillbilly baby boy.
