Description
Hello! We are in process of forming a garage band. Currently its two guitarists, one who can sing vocals and a drummer. We are are looking to find a bass player. We are playing for fun, to get better at the instruments we love, and to enjoy playing with other like minded musicians. We are starting to learn covers with the goal for us to get on stage an play, maybe even a few times a month if we really like it. We are going to learn a bunch of bar friendly songs, So 80's 90's Rock, 90's Alternative, and what ever cool songs that are fun to play and people will enjoy to hear us play. We are thinking of getting a space to play in North Richland Hills. If we do, we would all split the cost, which divided by for its around 75 a month. So please keep that in mind if you wish to join. Later we may pick up another vocalist, and a keyboard player. If we do, then the cost would go down. We plan on meeting once a week right, starting right after the new year.
So, the three of us are in our 40's. We do not care how old you are, we only care that you want to play, have your life together, and don't bring drama to the band. If you suck at the bass, that is OK. Just as long as you are willing to put in the time to learn the songs as we go, getting better will happen all on its own. If you for sure want to play, will put in the time necessary to learn the songs, and can show up to practice. That is all we ask.
So if you want to hang out with some cool musicians, play your bass in a "Garage Band", find your self on the stage down the line for fun. Then reach out. We would be happy to hear from you.
