Drums and Bass seek Guitar

We are a rhythm section with a good place to play -bass and drums that have played together quite a while. We'd like to find a guitar player (or 2) that can lead us in some fun, satisfying, sessions. We like to play classic rock type rock music. Since we're a rhythm section, we need someone who can take the lead and is capable of leading us in the songs we all play. We don't sing, so vocals, at least scratch vocals to keep structure in songs is part of what we need. Since we need someone so capable, you will probably be a better musician than are we. But we have in the past been a tight rhythm section and with a little work can be a good fit for a better band leader. We're not pros but we do enjoy tight song arrangements where we work on full songs with beginnings and endings. If you're a single guitarist who can lead us, or even a couple players who are looking for a rhythm section, we're happy. We're not really into "the blues" or into heavy metal so guys wanting a Stevie Ray Vaughn, or Iron Maiden cover band probably won't fit. We want to play one night a week (Thursdays) for a few hours after work, Weekends we are busy doing other things. Short term goals are to have fun playing good music. We have no problem occasionally playing out, but only if we are good enough for others to want to hear us. I will send you links of our playing before we decide we want to meet so you can judge us.
