Please join Just Media for our National Convening, taking place on February 9th & 10th, 2023 at Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT. Activists, advocates, movement builders, filmmakers, writers, and performance artists will gather together to discuss how film and other art forms are being used to push against systems change, promote justice reform, and to transform lives. JustMedia is an open access lens based archive designed to support advocacy efforts for systemic reform through the art of storytelling. JustMedia focuses on challenging the criminal legal system by organizing, amplifying, and sharing existing films and videos that tell a variety of stories. This intentional act serves as a media literacy tool for the movement to end mass incarceration and achieve abolition.
