Welcome to the second board game tournament hosted by Dice Versa Games, we're hoping to make this one bigger and more exciting for you guys! Much like the first one, there will be 5 rounds where participants will be chosen at random to get first picks from 1 of 10 games for the round. Rounds will be up to 1 hour (usually shorter) and games will be played with 4 players and you will be awarded points based on your ranking in the round. Assuming we have enough attendance we will have the top 16 go to a semi-final round which constitutes four 4 player games. From there, the four 1st place winners from that round will go to the finals for one last game to determine 1st through 4th place. All ticket sales will go into a pot which will form the cash prizes for the top 4. If we can fill all 40 seats, the prize pool will look as such: 1st Place: 50% of the pot (up to $300) 2nd Place: 25% of the pot (up to $150) 3rd place: 15% of the pot (up to $90) 4th Place: 10% of the pot (up to $60) **Short disclaimer: Dice Versa Games will not be claiming any money from this event, we will not be paid in any form and there will be no betting/gambling/ante of any kind at this event** The list of games that will be at the tournment include: - Dominion + Intrigue Expansion - Ticket To Ride - Carcassonne - 7 Wonders - Wingspan - Azul - Tiny Towns - Llama Land - Splendor - Cascadia *Participants are encouraged to have a base level understanding of each game to keep the tournament flowing smoothly. Food: Staybridge will be providing food for tournmanet participants - Dice Versa purchases all of the food for everyone and then we will "sell" meal tickets in order to even out the cost. Meals are $12 (cash or card) and will include: Group’s Choice of Ham, Turkey, or Roasted Vegetable Wraps. Assorted Chips, Sliced Fresh Fruit, Fresh Baked Cookies & Assorted Sodas. Beverage Station: All Day Beverage Service- Coffee, Tea & Iced Water Final note: tickets for the tournament may be purchased at the door (cash or card)
