Start your year off with the solid foundation of relaxation and peace! For 90 minutes, Austin Shook will be using 25 instruments to help create a container that will serve as an opportunity for you to find stillness, relaxation, and healing! When you sit in a quiet place and close your eyes to meditate, do you find your mind constantly jumping from one thought to another and it seems practically impossible to get into a deep meditation? Maybe you have stopped trying to meditate because of this road block? The vibrations from these instruments guide us into deep levels of meditation with half the effort. This is because the vibrations that fill the room give us something to focus on. With your focus on the sounds, all other thoughts fade away and you are left with stillness of mind and body which boldly present themselves to you as the sounds subside. The realization of such deep stillness and presence allows us to connect with ourselves in ways that some of us have never experienced! You will be hearing sounds from crystal singing bowls, gongs, native flutes, didgeridoo, harmonium, drums, handpan, guzheng, vocals, ocean drums, rattles, rain sticks, and tuning forks. **We will have warm adaptogenic herbal drinks available for purchase on site before the sound healing starts at 3pm! Please bring anything that can help create maximum comfort for you during this experience. Yoga mats, blankets, pillows, bolsters, blocks, water, journal, or anything else that you may have in mind!
