THIS IS A FREE SCREENING (but feel free to make a donation to Stray Cat Film Center, the only independent non-profit movie theater in KC) Growing up, my family would go out for Chinese food and a movie on Christmas Eve. These were traditionally the only two places that were open, and Jewish people were traditionally the only people who would go out that night. Now, I get to host my own movie night on Christmas Eve. I’ll be showing something good. Knowing me, it will probably be something funny and heartfelt. Feel free to bring some food. I’ll bring the wine. L’chaim. xo, david
