Turner Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) will celebrate its 129th Founder’s Day Observance, February 5-7, 2023. Turner Chapel AME Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Tar-u-way R. Bright will host all Founder’s Day activities. The celebration will feature the Founders’ Day Lectures and the 9th Annual Henry McNeal Turner Hall of Fame Induction Gala. Founder’s Day Theme: Prophetic Problem Solvers: Pursuing a Liberating Legacy of Justice and Reconciliation Founder’s Day Scripture: Isaiah 30:18-19 Founder’s Day Guest Psalmist: Reverend Carolyn E. Brailsford, Episcopal Supervisor of the 19th Episcopal District The Founder’s Day Main Events: ❖ February 5, 2023 o Laff-A-Lujah: An Evening of Laughter & Praise – Scholarship Benefit Concert featuring Gospel Artist & Worship Leader Isabel Davis, David Walker & High Praise, Marica Chisolm, and Symone Wright o Hosts: WABE Morning Edition Anchor, Lisa Rayam & Comedian Whodi ❖ February 6, 2023 o The Board of Trustees, Alumni Association, Student Fellowship Meetings and Workshops o President-Dean Luncheon - Guest speaker: Bishop Reginald T.
