This ride is a new year's classic. Join TMBA for the annual MLK Jr Holiday ride at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The route traverses the levees of the Refuge starting at the St. Marks Nat'l Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. We will ride out to Pinhook Bridge and then down to the historic St. Marks Lighthouse via levees offering a scenic view of esturine ecosystems. Alligators, bald eagles, woodstorks, osprey, and even a flamingo (yes, a flamingo) are some of the wildlife that you may expect to see during the ride. Ride rolls out at 10:00 AM sharp! This is a relatively relaxed-paced ride, all rider speeds and levels welcome.Please park at the Visitor Center in the grass lot. Post-ride celebration cookout at Newport Park and Campground on Hwy 98 after the ride! TMBA will be cooking out burgers and dogs for all to enjoy. Bring a dish!
