Description

This litter is sooo cute and friendly! We will have 6 baby bunnies ready for adoption on December 15. Our bunnies are handled often and like attention. They love to snuggle up and sleep together in a big, fluffy pile of cuteness. The bunnies are fully weened and eating greens, veggies, fruit, timothy hay and organic feed. Mama is a short-hair mini rex and Papa is a long-hair mini rex. This litter has 6 blonde babies (golden) -- 2 short-hair and 4 fluffy. ** I cannot guarantee ** the sex at this age, but will try to guess if that matters to you. Rabbits make great pets, as they are quiet, small and fine with confinement as long as they get some attention every day. Free-roaming bunnies can sleep in your bed and be litter trained like a cat, but don't use kitty litter in the box. If you use biodegradable litter, you could put the litter box contents into your compost bin, enrich your garden soil, or spread it around the base of your fruit trees. (Or give your chickens a treat... gross!) Worried about the cost to care for a rabbit? Don't be! Rabbits are one of the cheapest pets you could ever have. They will love your vegetable scraps like outer layers of lettuce/cabbage, kale, cucumber peels, watermelon, tops of strawberries or carrots. I like to grow collard greens and comfrey (very easy to grow in Florida) to ensure they have fresh leafy greens at almost no cost. One small packet of collard seeds will yield many plants that last for a year or longer - pull off the bottom leaves and more will grow from the middle. No garden? You could easily grow greens in a pot on your patio. The bunny will provide the fertilizer! (If you have a brown thumb, Walmart sells a 2# bag of collard greens for $5.) Located in South Lakeland near Pipkin Rd, which is between the airport and Mulberry. Small rehoming fee of $40 cash or barter item of similar value. Don't miss out on these adorable cuties! Please text me - I won't see an email. Keywords: Rabbit - Bunny - Bunnies - Lakeland
