Detroit Fleat presents Makers Night - a monthly workshop hosted by a local artist. This month’s workshop: Winter Candle Making Learn how to pour your own scented candle with Kerriann Koss of Mugs and Other Jugs. Participants will be guided through the process of creating a 9.5oz or 17oz candle and leaving with the skills to create handmade candles on their own. We are so excited to provide space for amazing artists to share their skills with the community! When: Thursday, January 5th from 6pm-8pm Tickets: $35 for a 9.5oz candle / $45 for a 17oz candle About Kerriann Koss: Kerriann is a local artist who has been happily making candles since 2018. You can find her candles and other cool handmade gifts at her website: mugsandotherjugs.com Class Information: Space is limited to 15 participants and the minimum age to participate is 14 years old. Any participants between 13-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased a ticket for themselves. All necessary supplies will be provided for our guests. Participants should wear clothes that can get dirty and keep in mind to refrain from wearing baggy clothes. Cancellation policy: There are NO refunds for cancellations less than 48 hours before the event. If a cancellation request is submitted before 48 hours, a full refund will be issued. Late Arrival Policy: Out of respect for the instructor and other participants, we ask that you arrive promptly and are ready to start class at 6pm. Late arrivals will have to catch up on their own. Scents in photos shown may or may not be available.
