I am a working musician with well over 20 years' teaching and performing experience offering acoustic guitar, electric guitar and electric bass lessons for beginners through advanced students of all ages as well as piano for beginners. (I am also available to play solo guitar for events/parties). I will customize lessons to fit your needs, so whatever your favorite style of music is, I can help! Some areas of instruction might include (according to your personal goals); Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Pop, Folk/Bluegrass, Flamenco Chords, Strumming/Fingerpicking techniques Lead solos/improvisation Tablature Music notation/reading skills Music Theory (chord/scale relations, Major/minor chord progressions, ear training, songwriting) Electric bass (reading bass clef and building bass lines over chord sequences) (I can also help you to prepare for college auditions in Classical Guitar, Jazz performance or Theory) I am taking in-person lessons or via Zoom, WhatsApp or Skype. I am located in SW Arlington at I20/Cooper next to Parks Mall. (See below for lesson pricing) My background: I have a Bachelor's in Jazz Guitar and a Master's in Classical Guitar Performance from University of North Texas, and have been teaching privately for about 20 years. I have taught at Tarrant County College and am now teaching at Brookhaven College and North Lake College. I am currently playing electric and acoustic guitar with Revolution 9 (1960's cover band), bass guitar with Darkest Before Dawn (60's/70's classic rock/soft rock/folk/blues), electric/classical guitar with Vocal Jazz ensemble Revolveress, as well as solo classical guitar cafe/restaurant gigs.
