Hi, there. I met you mid-November. You had (and I assume still have) long dark wavy/curly hair, and a great smile with a good sense of humor (you at least laughed at my stupid jokes). You were wearing the standard United attire.
We struck up a conversation when you checked me into my flight from Kansas City (MCI) to Chicago (ORD). I probably said something about my bag being heavy “with books.” You laughed & said it wasn’t that bad.
Then, a bit later you checked me into/onto the plane (took my ticket). I made some comment about you being busy doing everything at the airport for United.
And, lastly, you came onto the plane to do the final count as I was walking down the aisle (I was one of the last people to board), I turned & looked back at you. Our eyes met. I couldn’t think of anything clever to say or do (blow you a kiss, perhaps?). So, I turned back and kept walking toward my middle seat in a row over the wing of the plane (safest place, right?). I looked back at you one last time, and once again you were looking right at me - and smiled.
I wish we had exchanged emails or something. Would love to connect and find out more about you. Maybe I can find another reason to go to Kansas City so that we could get dinner.
