Build your career in the commercial building janitorial field! We are looking for a motivated, flexible, and professional candidate to work as a Special Event Cleaner. You will be responsible for providing basic janitorial cleaning for all "Home" Jacksonville Jaguar games & Special events that are located downtown which include the Prime Osborn Convention Center, Jacksonville Center for Performing Arts, Vystar Arena, and Daily's Place Amphitheater. This employee also needs to be punctual and professional as he/she represents us as “the company” in most cases. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but are not limited to: Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs. Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary. Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition. Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment always. Other routine janitorial duties as assigned Utilize the Timekeeping system for verification of all time. Experience: Must have experience in custodial cleaning. Must be available to work any shift as assigned, including overnights and weekends. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Ability to take direction and work in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to perform routine walking, standing, and bending for extended periods Ability to independently carry items weighing less than 50 lbs. Moving items over 50 lbs. utilizes a team lift Must be 18 years of age Schedule: 4-hour shift 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
