Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking a talented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. We are looking for experience in inventory control, receiving, packaging, shipping, and distribution of highly valued custom products. Minimum Requirements – basic considerations for applicants • 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving • Proficient computer skills (expected to log information into our database, answer emails, provide tracking information, etc.) • Organizational and time management skills • High level of accuracy and special attention to details • Able to read and comprehend labels and instructions • Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude • Ability to work through conflict and use problem solving techniques • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Key Job Responsibilities (not limited to) • Responsible for ensuring that all shipping and/or receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time • Communicates with internal/external customers as required • Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods • Assuring no damaged items are sent or received • Examines contents of incoming/outgoing shipments and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy • Resolve discrepancies by conferring with vendors, customers, and management • Tagging all materials with job numbers & documentation • Preparing documents such as pack slips, bills of lading, and shipping orders • Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the job/ inventory • Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary Our work is custom in nature and highly-evolving.
