Maintenance Assistant/Laborer - will train

We are looking for a laborer to assist our maintenance technicians and foreman with residential property repairs and projects. This person would assist the foreman with dispatching, scheduling, property grounds clean up, light landscaping, record keeping, and inventory tracking/stocking, as well as assist other technicians with maintenance repairs and projects. Some knowledge of maintenance and hand tools would be helpful but is not required. Training in the field will be provided. Looking for someone with a willingness to learn and who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty. Must also be comfortable with occasional heavy lifting. You will be expected to use your own vehicle to travel to job sites, so a reliable vehicle is a MUST. About us: Vertex Real Estate is a growing residential property management company overseeing a variety of rental properties centered in Amherst, Massachusetts and the surrounding towns. We have a variety of houses, multi-unit buildings, rental condos, and small complexes. Most of our properties are in Amherst, Sunderland, Hadley, and Northampton. We are looking for someone who is located reasonably close to these areas. Hours: Full time, 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday with a half hour lunch break. Applying: Please reply by email to inquire.
