Gardner Watson Decking, Inc headquartered in Oldsmar, FL with projects primarily in the eastern half of the United States is looking to hire an experience Foreman to run a crew with the installation of Sheet Metal Deck. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS ** MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND BE INSURABLE ** Construction experience ** Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus JOB DESCRIPTION • Drive company truck with crew and equipment • Safely lay and attach sheet metal deck on the steel framing • Maintain company equipment • Work within OSHA, Customer, and Company Safety Standards • Additional duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: • Foremen must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Traveling is 100 % required • Be able to lift at least 75lbs • Enjoy working outside • Enjoy working at heights • Positive attitude • Great work ethic • Be able to work as part of team • Accept responsibility and direction • Stand, Walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, Stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Work on construction sites • Work at heights greater than 40' • Outdoor weather conditions (heat and cold) • Work with hand, power, pneumatic and powder actuated tools PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: • OSHA 10 OR 30 • CPR Certificate • First Aid Certificate • Aerial Lift Certificate WORK SCHEDULE AND HOURS: • Hours are based on job site requirements • Full Time – NON-Exempt BENEFITS: Health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, Holiday pay, Vacation Pay Ideal candidate must be able to submit to and pass a drug screen and background check. www.gwdeck.com NOTE: The above job description is not all-inclusive and does not list every duty/responsibility of a Foreman.
