This 1-day American Red Cross course provides hands-on activities, exciting videos, role-plays and lively discussions. Youth ages 11–15 learn child care, first aid, leadership and communication skills. Both girls and boys welcome.

Instructions:
Students should wear a mask to enter the hospital. Stop at the front desk for directions to the conference center.Students should arrive 10 minutes early to check in and get class materials. Each student should bring a bag lunch. Snacks and beverages will be provided by the hospital. Please bring a doll or teddy bear that is as close to newborn size as possible to perform care skills in the class. (Instructors will have a few dolls to share in case the student is unable to bring this item.) Play activities that babysitters can do with children will be discussed in class.
