The Columbus Fashion Council has partnered with Le Meridien, The Joseph of Columbus and Soul At The Joseph for our First Annual Holiday Couture Wine Tasting. This is an exclusive intimate event with the capacity of only 100 guests! Come join us in YOUR most stylish/couture holiday outfit while sipping on high-end Napa Valley Wines, including the high priced Nickel & Nickel! Each guest will receive 4 tastings, while mingling with other fashionable guests at the Soul At The Joseph. You may exchange your tasting tickets for a larger pour of select wines, excluding Nickel & Nickel. Featured Wines: Nickel & Nickel Vaca Vista 2019 (wholesale $115, restaurant price $150 - $400) Expressive aromas of red currant, black cherry and tobacco leaf on the nose. Herbal entry of sage and savory spices before migrating to a voluminous mix of red and dark fruit flavors. Soft and silky throughout the palate with polished tannins and broad mouthfeel. Buehler Vineyards Cabernet 2019 (wholesale $40, restaurant price $80 - $160, 91 points) Spiced cocoa beans, red chili pepper and creamy blackberries. Medium body and supple with flavorful currants and blackberries on the palate. Truchard Vineyards Chardonnay 2020 (wholesale $31, restaurant price $60 - $100, 89 points) An intense nose of pineapple, baked apples, and honeysuckle with hints of nutmeg, fig, and toasted oak. The mouth is clean and bright filled with flavors of fresh pear, quince, and lemon zest. Firm acidity provides a crisp finish of citrus, mineral, and spice. Stag’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc 2019 (wholesale $29, restaurant price $60 - $100, 89 points) This vibrant wine opens with layered aromas of pineapple, stone fruit, green apple and lime. The palate is fruit driven and round with pear, honeydew melon and lemon chiffon that is expertly balanced by a bright acidity and mineral undertones.
