Join Austin Dempers of Fire + Root Collective and Maggie Saltiel of Botanical Touch for an evening of connection, grounding, sharing and journaling. The practice of coming together in circles to talk and share is as human as can be. Our ancestors sat around fires and center pieces sharing experiences, wisdom, and food with each other since the beginning of time. We know that healing happens in community. It’s why group therapy is so powerful. This healing circle invites you to be a part of a community. All will be invited to share, to offer support, or simply be a witness. In this circle you can expect to enjoy some tea, open and close with some grounding, and connect with a community as we reflect on experiences unique to our queer identities. Sharing not required! Suggested donation: $10-$20 - Bring your own coffee/tea mug and something cozy to sit with. (blanket, pillow, cushion etc.) Fire and Root is a trauma-informed wellness studio for women and gender non conforming folks to thrive. With a combined background as a yoga teacher and therapist, we hope to create the coziest space to connect with eachother!
