HOW IT WORKS: Happy Hour (1st 30-minutes) Enjoy happy hour drink specials from the bar and mingle with the other attendees. Be sure to check in with the host to let them know you’ve arrived. The traditional speed-dating portion (1-hour) Ladies will be sitting on opposite sides from the guys. After about 5 minutes, you’ll hear the bell meaning it’s time to rotate!! Once we’ve gone through about 10 rotations, we’ll take a drink break - here comes the fun part! Bachata dance lesson (1-hour) Yes, we’re going to teach you the basics of this latin dance where you’ll join other beginners looking to learn some new moves. The first 20 minutes consists of learning the proper footwork on your own. Afterwards, you’ll randomly pair up with someone for partnerwork. NO PARTNER NEEDED as we’ll be rotating partners in class. This will help you get a feel of the different leads/follows and get closer acquainted with any possible connections you may have made. Afterparty Stick around afterwards for the afterparty.
