San Diego based organizations, Black Tech Link , San Diego Urban League Young Professionals, and San Diego Black Professionals have partnered with the Peoples Association of Justice Advocates (PAJA) to host a holiday toy/gift drive that will benefit foster youth ages 0-17 during the 2022 holiday season. On Wednesday December 14th, Black Tech Link joins PAJA to spread cheer and holiday spirit to the most vulnerable communities within San Diego. Black Tech Link invites you to attend our Ugly Sweater Party & Toy Drive at the Carté Hotel where we will highlight community leaders that have supported San Diego's most critical communities. Come and celebrate the season of giving while enjoying music, appetizers, cocktails, and networking with professionals and entrepreneurs. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped present or gift for a chance to be entered into a holiday raffle. General Admission is $35. Event runs from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Valet/Street Parking. Special Guest Speaker TBA! For the last 5 years PAJA Executive Director, Shane Harris has hosted a gift drive during the holiday season that culminates on Christmas Morning that benefits foster youth in San Diego County. Black Tech Link seeks to increase visibility towards the holiday giving campaign by inviting our corporate partners to support this most important initiative as well as celebrate during the season of giving. This event will benefit the PAJA 6th Annual Community Christmas Day Breakfast and Toy Drive where donated gifts will be distributed to families.
