Learn the age old art of calligraphy in its contemporary form with local artist Brooke Benjamin. Enjoy a relaxing evening filled with hands on instruction, demonstration and good company. This event includes all materials needed and a workbook to continue practicing on your own as well. Wine and shared appetizers also included for all participants. Brooke is a self taught calligrapher who celebrates her love for the traditional and handmade through her art and designs. Inspired by the masters and mother nature, she loves to incorporate organic textures, shapes and colors in her creations. The daughter of a printmaker and an art dealer, Brooke has been deeply immersed in the fine arts throughout her life and is excited to share her passion and artwork.
