English/Exhibition budgies (parakeets) are larger, calmer and quieter than regular budgies. They are easier as pets because of their more placid temperament. I purchased Linden at a bird show last year and he has been in an aviary with my American/Pet parakeets until recently. He was never really part of the flock as he is much more sedate and quiet. Recently my other male budgie began to pick on Linden so I needed to separate them and I have decided to rehome him.
